Stassi Schroeder said she started feeling 'insecure' about her body after receiving harsh comments about her runway appearance earlier this year.
The reality TV personality, 38, admitted she was affected after she took the stage in nothing else but a tiny, triangle bikini as part of the Miami Swim Week catwalk event in May.
She made the admission while reflecting on making her debut at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show last year and then being invited to make another appearance earlier this year.
'The first year was really amazing,' she told Page Six Radio on Thursday.
'The second year, the trolls got to me.'
Schroeder said online trolls started making digs at her 'rectangle' body shape and compared her physique to SpongeBob Squarepants.
This comes after she revealed she 'dieted for months' before modeling a bikini on the runway.

'I love doing it,' she told the outlet as she recalled her experience on the Miami Swim Week catwalk alongside fellow stars like Alix Earle, Tiffany Haddish and Bethenny Frankel.
'I feel so f***ing empowered, the girls are so nice.
The atmosphere, the energy, it's such a girl power vibe and everyone's there just lifting each other up,' she continued.
'So, I really love doing it,' the House of Stassi star added.
The reality star, who previously faced public scrutiny during her time on Vanderpump Rules, said she is now 'really good' at dealing with hateful commentary online.
She noted that there are 'few things' that bother her nowadays.
She said that her haters were 'not wrong' but explained that she did not want to put herself through that again by doing the swimsuit catwalk for a third time.
She admitted she felt 'just a little insecure' after receiving the rude comments about her body, but she said she still enjoyed being a part of the runway show.
'If you believe all of the positive stuff you read, that means you have to believe all the negative stuff you read,' she said.
'So I just don't believe anything.'
Schroeder was previously embroiled in controversy when she was fired from Vanderpump Rules after eight seasons.
She and her longtime costar Kristen Doute were axed after their past racist actions against former castmate Faith Stowers came to light.
Since then, Schroeder has made appearances on the spinoff series, The Valley, as well as Lisa Vanderpump's show Vanderpump Villa.
Schroeder's new reality show, House of Stassi, is currently streaming on Hulu after premiering the first episode earlier this week.
