Force-feeding involves inserting a tube through a striker’s nose, down their throat, and then pumping in nutritional shakes: “an agonizing and traumatizing procedure that experts say can cause significant harm to the nose, esophagus and body organs.”

According to a lawsuit filed Monday by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, the Treasury Department is illegally withholding information about who is receiving settlement money from its Judgment Fund, obscuring whether January 6 insurrectionists and Trump allies are receiving massive payouts from the federal government.
The suit wants the government to share required information about all related payments.
With the Slush Fund uncertain, Trump’s allies have turned to pursuing payouts via the Federal Tort Claims Act process, seeking millions in “restitution” for alleged wrongdoings related to their prosecution.

Trump and son Eric filed a lawsuit in a Florida federal court last year, alleging that their accounts were closed because of the bank’s “woke” beliefs and its desire to benefit from the post-Jan. 6 political climate.
But Capital One said Friday that the TO’s allegations are “misguided” and “based on cherry-picked quotations unsupported by the full context” of documents submitted to the court and wants the case dismissed.
