Meanwhile, a third US aircraft carrier, a third one, we're going to find out what that means, has arrived in the Middle East amid the blockade.
Uh that's sending a message.
Matt Finn is live in Dubai with more.
Hey guys, it was 1 week ago that the Pentagon held a press conference and at that point Secretary Hagel said that Iran's navy had been obliterated, so they don't even have a fleet anymore to try to claim that they are in control of the Strait of Hormuz in the distance behind me.
And on the topic of fleets, CENTCOM says the US Navy now has three aircraft carriers here in the Middle East region.
The USS George H.W. Bush has arrived in the Indian Ocean.
Already here the USS Gerald Ford and Abraham Lincoln.
This is the first time three aircraft carriers have been in the region since 2003 leading up to the invasion in Iraq.
Now, CENTCOM says the United States has now ordered 33 vessels to turn around back towards Iran under the US blockade of Iranian ports.
Most of these ships are oil tankers.
Fox's Lauren Simonetti reports at least nine Iranian tankers full of millions of barrels of oil are just sitting unable to sell, unable to get past the American blockade.
President Trump says the initial 4 to 6 week estimate for Operation Epic Fury is going longer because he says he gave Iran a break.
And I also took a little break. I gave
them a break and remember this uh I want to make the best deal. I could
make a deal right now. Do you know that if I left right now,
we had a tremendous success. It would take them 20 years to rebuild, but I don't want to do that. I want to have it everlasting.
