I'm Steven Sloan at the State House in Concord, New Hampshire, where the early stages of the next presidential campaign are well underway.
Democrat Rahm Emanuel was in town earlier today.
He was visiting voters before continuing a statewide tour of New Hampshire on bike.
I caught up with him for about 20 mi of that bike ride, where we did some steep hills and survived a few downpours.
He hasn't formally declared his presidential campaign, but he is not shy about his ambitions.
If he [music] does do a campaign, he will join what is expected to be a really crowded field of presidential contenders.
And it's activities like this bike ride along
[music] with a lot of policy proposals that he's been releasing over the past few months that he hopes could help shape the contours of that campaign if he decides to join it.
