Vanilla Ice on why he will perform in Freedom 250 concert series: "I'd go play for anybody" 69%

A number of artists have recently said they will not perform at the multi-day Great American State Fair next month at Washington DC's National Mall. It's
being put on by the group Freedom 250, which our media partners at the BBC say was launched last year by the Trump administration with the president appointing its CEO. He will also kick off the concert.
One performer though says he will stop, collaborate, and listen.

I hope to perform in DC in the near future at an event that is not so politically charged.
McBride said, quote, "I have asked a lot of questions and was assured this was a nonpartisan event that was meant to celebrate all 50 states."
Yesterday, things started changing. What we were told is in fact not what is happening.

Some of these artists say that what they were told about the event isn't what they think the event is turning out to be.
Um, what were you told about this event? And and do you are you in agreement or disagreement with those statements?
