Today at Camp David with his embattled pick for Attorney General Todd Blanche sitting across from him, the president digging in demanding the Senate confirm him immediately.
>> Todd Blanche is a very very good man and he shouldn't be in the middle of this.
>> The president escalating his fight with two Republican senators, John Cornyn and Tom Tillis, who are refusing to back Blanche, Trump's former personal attorney, over concerns that the administration will revive plans for a $1.8 billion fund and give taxpayer dollars to Trump's political allies who claim they were wronged by the Biden administration including January 6th rioters.
Blanche has told Congress the fund is dead.
Today I pressed the president.
