Moore echoed Ford’s message on lowering costs and affordability, saying he is campaigning on similar points in Maryland against Republican nominee Dan Cox.
“Ford has an agenda that makes sure we’re focusing on lowering costs for the people of our state,” Moore said, “an agenda saying we’re going to support our small businesses and making sure that our small businesses have a chance to thrive.”
Moore helped shepherd a budget package into law in 2025 that closed a $3.3 billion deficit through a mix of spending cuts and new revenue.

“Trina has been a staple of our community,” Ford said.
“When I heard Wes was coming (to Las Vegas), I said, ‘Well, you've got to come to the community’s cafe.’
”
Visits to Nevada are always in vogue for presidential contenders from either party.
While Moore has stepped back from earlier denials of a 2028 White House bid — he has since declined to rule one out, including as recently as Monday during stops in Michigan — Newsom is seen as a top contender for the Democratic presidential nomination.
