Seattle police have released photos of a suspect in the fatal stabbing Sunday night of a 19-year-old University of Washington student. Police posted three photos to the SPD Blotter and asked for tips from the public. "Please take a close look at the photos below and see if you can help us capture this person," the post reads. more

After the warmest December on record in Washington state, coupled with record-level rain and flooding, snow finally reached the central Puget Sound region on Friday — including in Seattle, Everett, and Bremerton. The snow is expected to turn to rain in most locations under 500 feet in elevation by Friday evening. more
