So, interim AG Todd Blanch is brushing off a notion that Bondie's ousting had anything to do with Epstein.
First of all, I I have never heard President Trump say that the attorney general was that anything that happened to her had anything to do with the Epstein files.
And so, look, the Epstein files has been a a saga that's lasted for the entire for the past year.
And and what happened when the president signed the transparency act is the department of justice has now released all the files with respect to the Epstein saga and the attorney general
Bondi and I appeared in front of Congress voluntarily a couple weeks ago to answer any questions they had.
Bondi says she'll be transitioning to a private sector role where where she says she will continue fighting for President Trump, but lawmakers still want to enforce a subpoena to compel her deposition regarding the Epstein investigation.
Congresswoman Alexandria Okasio Cortez saying that's nice. Still does not get her out of testifying to Congress about Epstein.
We must also investigate the continued breaking of the law around the DOJ still hiding Epstein files from the public.
This is not over.
As for Bondi's temporary replacement, Blanch is a former federal prosecutor turned defense attorney who represented Trump in three of his criminal trials.
The two are close and sources say he could be nominated permanently.
Democrats are already criticizing him.

it's Todd Blanch who's now the acting attorney general of the United States.
This is the guy who transferred uh Galileain Maxwell from the uh higher security prison to the the the low the low security prison camp uh in Texas and is arranged for a very uh sweet landing for her there.
>> And there are reports Environmental Protection Agency head Lee Zeldon is also being considered to replace Bondi Todd and Ashley.

Steve, good morning to you. You know, first I just want to say, you know, you've spoken at events with Pam Bondi before.
You lost your daughter to an overdose.
So talk about before we get into this, you know, the importance she did with with um um the push on on drugs and and stopping the flow of that.

Uh, and we would often be at different events. Uh, and uh, before I lost my daughter, we were speaking at panels that were talking about the scourge of illicit fentinel coming into our country and trying to bolster communities.
Pam had been in the greater Tampa area and had been in the greater Tampa area and for the state of Florida, a very active advocate for trying to prosecute those that were trafficking in the illicit substances and also when I had to go through the process of losing my daughter, she was a very good friend and giving me uh advice about some of the interesting legal things that you face when you lose a loved one.
And there are bills that come in different places.
there might be unfinished legal issues that are out there. Uh she had a compassion for those that had been victim to this kind of crime and also suffering as you've gone through uh in many many households and many communities around the country.
So yes, the public sees a face of a back and forth with Congress and test EQs and A's.
Uh they see some of the political headlines, but behind all that there is this human that I knew as a friend that
I was grateful she had this tenure at uh at the Justice Department and the whole team that across the board, whether it's drug the drug policy team, justice, FBI,
all of them have been pretty good on on trying to fight fentinel.
>> Yeah. And I I think it is very important to humanize her at this point because as
you said, we see her as as something just a face, but she is, you know, she
she had some really good stances on this
and I am so sorry for your loss, Steve.
Um, but I do want to say that the Wall Street Journal editorial board, they reacted to Bondie's uh ousting, writing, quote, "Miss Bondi won't go down as a
great AG, but we wonder if anyone could succeed, even given Mr. Trump's expectations for the job.
The president wants someone who will do his bidding, which is proper on policy issues.
He needs an AG willing to tell him when his demands cross a legal line.
So, you know, they're they're kind of pinning Lee Zeldon to take this position. Um,
