The curtain is rising on a handful of celebrities taking a break from the big screen for the Broadway lights.
Hollywood A-listers are filling theaters this season expressing excitement about being in New York City and the crossover to the stage.
I just love New York. I love the city and I love this community.
Perhaps best known as Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe earned a 2026 Tony nomination for his lead actor performance in every brilliant thing.
When we started doing the show that I did this year, I truly didn't know how it was going to go. I didn't know if it people would like it. I didn't know if we'd get audiences. I certainly never expected any of this. Um so, the fact that we're here is like genuinely feels like like I'm really proud.
Welsh actor Luke Evans, who got his start on London's West End, got a best actor nod for his Broadway debut in The Rocky Horror Show revival.
I get to walk out and be a rock star every night. I mean, it's it's it's a magical experience and one I will never forget. Probably one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had.
Whether they started acting in school plays or they are just making their way onto the Broadway stage, one thing these actors have in common is their love for the arts.
It it builds camaraderie and community and I love being a part of it and also seeing other people want to be a part of it, too.
It can affect so much change and it's a way for us to be able to commune and come together.
2026 Tony nominee and former SNL cast member Rachel Dratch talked about being a part of The Rocky Horror cast.
There's nothing like a live show and like the interaction, especially Rocky Horror, interaction with the audience and there's nothing like that on your TV.
Pop superstar Pink, who played host for the 79th annual Tonys, doesn't come from a Broadway background, but appreciates what this community creates.
I think art and theater are the most important things in the entire world.
The standing ovations continue as Broadway enters its summer season and the celebrities return for an encore.
