And Danny, millions are bracing for more dangerous conditions overnight.
Well, severe storms are still bringing dangerous conditions to the Midwest tonight before that threat shifts to the east coast tomorrow after an already really active afternoon.
Another round from Wisconsin and Michigan to portions of the Illinois and Ohio River valleys tonight.
Severe thunderstorm watches posted for Chicago, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati with damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes possible.
The concerns then shift east tomorrow.
Strong storms in the Mid-Atlantic by morning and drenching downpours bringing flood concerns to the I95 corridor by midday.
Flood watches posted in Philly and New York City with this slowmoving storm keeping heavy rain in play Wednesday as well.
The other big story is the dangerous heat in the center of the country. Millions under heat alert.
Cities like Memphis seeing heat index values above 110 tomorrow.
That heat holds into at least Wednesday.
