As farmers in the famous wine region step up using their tractors and water tanks to help firefighters battle the erratic flames.
Here's Sky News' Sadia Chowdhury reporting in the area.

We know that more than 70 of them have been injured at tackling this blaze.

As the region faces record heat, fires also breaking out in southern Italy, forcing the evacuation of popular beaches.
Meanwhile, back at home, crews also battling fires in central Oregon as
104 million people remain under heat alerts nationwide.
In South Carolina today, several inches of rain falling in just an hour, flooding roads.
And in California, a tropical system in the Pacific is creating huge swells.
