A major crash between a truck and a trailer blocked most northbound lanes of Interstate 69 between Uptown and Gulfton Thursday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The trailer lost a load of scrap metal, Garza said. 
The live Houston TranStar traffic map verified the crash at 10:30 a.m. 
The right lane, two center lanes and right shoulder were still affected shortly before 1 p.m., according to TranStar. 
The map showed that the scene cleared before 3 p.m. 
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured or how the crash occurred.
