Central Command announced Sunday that it has unleashed the ninth consecutive night of strikes on Iran, in light of a rising U.S. death toll in the Gulf.
“CENTCOM began conducting a new wave of strikes against Iran at 7 p.m.
ET today for the ninth consecutive night,” CENTCOM’s post read.
“The strikes will continue degrading Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners transiting the Strait of Hormuz.”

The strikes will continue degrading Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Earlier Sunday, CENTCOM reported finding the remains of what they believed to be the missing U.S. service member struck by the same missiles that killed two troops Friday night.
Those killings increased the U.S. death toll to 17 soldiers since the start of the Iran war.
“This is a ninth round of strikes,” began Fox News’s Joey Jones .
“One of the points of contention here is what are we hitting?
And is it civilian infrastructure?
Because there’s international rules against that.”
“They’ll say things like, ‘We hit 160 telecom towers that could be used for…drones,’ so, they are connecting the civilian infrastructure to the military operations, which the IRGC essentially operates in Iran to begin with,” Jones continued.
“So, there really isn’t a good way to discern between the two to begin with so we’re almost in a sit and wait to see how effective these strikes are.”
Co-Host Tomi Lahren added, “I think it is notable if it’s the ninth consecutive night of strikes.
I don’t know if this is in direct response to the killing of our service members, or if this was the plan all along.”
I guess we’re not sure but we have to assume things will ramp up due to the attacks on our service members and if those continue to imagine President Trump is not going to stand for that, and I would expect him to escalate accordingly.
I think there will be a lot of discussions this week to the point we’ve all been making about how does this impact our economy and are Republicans going to get cold feet because we’re couple of months for midterms?
All things we will find out this week I’m sure.
