A 68-year-old man was stabbed to death in Martinez and police were still searching for the suspect on Friday, police said.
Authorities identified the victim as Todd Stewart.
He was stabbed in front of a home on Francis Court near Blue Ridge Drive and Reliez Valley Road at around 5:09 p.m.
Thursday.
Stewart was declared dead outside the home.
Investigators said the suspect drove off in a Cadillac SUV and was not captured as of early Friday evening.
Police released images of the SUV and the suspect, who is seen wearing a tactical vest, black gloves, sunglasses, a hat and dark pants.
