Cops are hunting a man who tried to rape a 44-year-old woman in Central Park early Friday morning.
The woman was near W. 64th St. and West Drive when the attacker snuck up behind her around 6:16 a.m., police said.
The woman suffered cuts to her head from the assault and was treated at a local hospital.
A law enforcement source shared an image of the suspect with the Daily News.
The attack follows the arrest of Lateef Caldwell, a homeless parolee accused of trying to rape a woman in Central Park on March 23.
The 45-year-old victim, wearing traditional Muslim garb, was sitting on a bench along a footpath near E. 109th St. and East Drive when she was attacked around 5:35 p.m., cops said.
The assailant pinned her to the bench without saying a word.
But she was saved by three bystanders who yelled out, scaring him off and chasing him through the park, sources said.
