what is the antiBSmachine

The antiBSmachine is platform for Ranking people and organizations, based on how manipulative they are.

[[Rankings]] are simple to use... they immediately indicate how each person and organization's use of manipulation compares to the other people and organizations.

Along with Rankings, the antiBSmachine provides access to all of the data that was used to generate Rankings, and all of the algorithms that are used to process the data. You can see Rankings at a glance, but you can also see all of the data that generated the Ranking.

The antiBSmachine also provides tools and visualizations to summarize the data. The quantity of data is very large, and I want to enable a good understanding of it, so providing good tools is vital.

It is universally understood that media is biased and is trying to manipulate you. But there has been no way to quantify that. No way to measure it. No way to compare or discuss bias objectively. The antiBSmachine fills that gap... it enables objective analysis, where none has existed before.

This is in support of my goal: to enable more critical thinking and more informed choices.
