On Friday, Governor Kathy Hochul announced a set of laws to protect New Yorkers against aggressive federal immigration enforcement. Banning the wearing of masks by law enforcement is one of those laws. This has already been challenged on the federal level as a danger to agents due to protesters boxing them.
