What to know today
TRUMP SAYS IRAN CEASEFIRE 'OVER': President Donald Trump said today that he thinks the ceasefire and interim agreement to end the war with Iran are now "over."
He said he would allow negotiators to keep talking but that "it’s just a waste of time dealing with them."
IRAN, U.S.
TRADE STRIKES: The president's comments came after Iran launched attacks against American bases in the Gulf, retaliating for a new wave of strikes by the U.S. which said Tehran hit three commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. also revoked Iran's ability to sell oil on the global market.

MADE DEAL 'INEFFECTIVE': Prior to Trump's comments, Iran said that U.S. and Israeli actions "have rendered key and fundamental elements of the agreement to end the war ineffective," Iran's foreign ministry said.
KHAMENEI FUNERAL: The sudden escalation came as Iran was holding a massive days-long funeral for its slain Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Peace talks appear to have been paused amid the funeral events, which moved today to the Iraqi city of Najaf.
NATO SUMMIT: Trump is meeting with NATO allies for the second day of their summit in Ankara, Turkey.
