Socialism 101 — 'Rules for thee, not for me': Rep Anna Paulina Luna
Build a wall.
Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna
joins us now. So, it's a little hot.
>> Just a little bit.
>> Don't sweat it, Luna. The mandates,
they're telling us how how cold and how
hot we have to keep it in Manhattan.
What does that mean?
>> Oh, the warmth of socialism. Rules for
thee, but not for me, right? What I will
tell you is I think we successfully
secured the win and the vote this
election cycle because of those crazy
mandates for every woman that suffered
from a heat flash.
>> [laughter]
>> MSG right now, I think there's a little
wedding. Have you heard what's going on
up there?
>> a little marriage between Travis Kelsey
and Taylor Swift.
>> think it's 78° at MSG?
>> I'd bet it's probably 60.
>> Did you see Mondaire Jones' speech? It
was a little divisive. I thought he was
more of a a unifying force in politics.
>> You know, when I first saw it, I thought
it was a little bit more like a hostage
speech, to be honest with you. But, you
know, again, they really don't have a
platform for anything but hate, but I do
look forward to kicking their butt this
election cycle. This is
>> Do you think that communism is going to
be an issue? Are you guys going to run
on that? Are you just going to sit back
and watch them fight each other?
>> You know, we should run on it, but you
know, it's interesting cuz I talked to
many Democrats here on the Hill, and
what I will tell you is they're even
concerned with how it's making their
party look. And ultimately, at the end
of the day, these people want to
literally redistribute the wealth. And
so, what I will tell you is Charlie Kirk
always said socialism sucks, it doesn't
work. And honoring him today, I will
continue that legacy. Socialism does
suck, don't do it.
>> Yeah, Charlie would have been having a
great time on American [laughter] 250,
just brimming with patriotism. So, you
said you talked to some Democrats and
they see how big of a threat it is to
the party, but they're not confronting
it. Are they scared?
>> I think people like Hakeem Jeffries
knows that it's an issue, but they don't
quite know what to do with it. What's
interesting is the Associated Press
recently actually asked me, they said,
"This is a response to MAGA." And I
said, "You mean racism and just
craziness and total idiocracy? I don't
think so. I think that you guys are
having identity crisis, and I think
these people, for example, the woman
that got elected in New York, she was
largely elected by older white women
that went to college. What about the
actual working people that actually want
law enforcement, don't want to raise
their taxes? And so, what I would say is
that they like to talk a big game, but
when it comes down to actually
implementing the policy, they really
don't know how policy works.
>> How did you like the flyovers today?
>> Absolutely amazing. I took my 8 and 1/2
year old to the capital. We watched
them. And as it was happening, I all of
a sudden, look, I see a B-2 stealth
bomber. I haven't seen that since my
time in the military.
>> What did What did your uh little child
say? Did he
>> He said, "Planes, planes." And they see,
"Look, baby planes." Cuz from far away,
they look tiny, and then they turn and
go, "Wow, big plane."
>> Those were pretty big. All right, Anna
Paulina Luna, thank you so much. Happy
July 4th.
>> Thank you, Jesse.
