Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, facing a possible misdemeanor charge after an apparent hit-and-run in Napa County Friday.
The sheriff's office ruling out driving under the influence, but they say will submit a driver reevaluation referral to the California DMV.
A spokesperson for the Pelosi family saying in the statement, quote, "Mr. Pelosi has personally apologized to the owner of the vehicle and assured them that he would take responsibility for the damage to their vehicle."
The incident comes after the now 86-year-old Pelosi was charged in a May 2022 DUI crash.
