US soccer star CLEARED to play vs Belgium after red card suspension #shorts #foxnews #news #us
This was way too draconian of a punishment relative to what occurred and
FIFA went back and looked at their rule book and one of the things about FIFA is their rule book basically allows them to
do anything and under FIFA rule 27 and I'm reading they have the ability to suspension of implementation of disciplinary measures.
That is the authority under which this red card has been lifted.
I think it's the right result.
The punishment was too significant.
There had already been the punishment of not being able to finish the game
and so I think FIFA got to the right result here.
If you're curious, hey,
what is the impact of one player? The odds market on this game was roughly 50/50.
The US has moved into a little bit more of a slight favorite than they were before with Balogun's ability to
play.
It certainly makes the US a better attacking team.
And I believe again, this is one of those situations where the end result was the correct one.
I think President Trump helped us get there.
I think Infantino, the head of FIFA, recognized this was an injustice and the wrong ruling had occurred.
Game on. Belgium has its best players. US has its best players.
Game is going to be tomorrow night on Fox.
Get your US gear, your pom-poms ready. Let's go kick Belgium's ass.
>> Yeah, that's going to be one to watch.
The president gave a little nudge.
