A true "Man for Others" has joined the Lord in Heaven.
It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of our Dad, Victor "Ron" Pine on July 28, 2026.
From an early age, Ron knew what mattered most to him: caring for others.
Whether he was supporting his children and grandchildren, tending to his aunts in their later years, or quietly helping someone in need, Ron lived a life of generosity, loyalty, and service.
One of his greatest passions was Bellarmine College Preparatory.
A proud member of the Class of 1957, Ron devoted much of his life to helping ensure that a Bellarmine education remained accessible to deserving young men, especially those in need of financial assistance.
After graduating from Bellarmine, Ron earned his bachelor's degree from San Jose State University and both his master's and law degrees from Santa Clara University.
Ron will be deeply missed by his family and by his many treasured friends, several of whom he had known for more than six decades.
They will remember his kindness, his devotion to others, and, of course, his wonderful cooking.
He is reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Yvonne.
Ron dearly loved his three sons, Kevin (Cindy), Craig (Paula), and Jeff (Mollie); his eight grandchildren, Taylor, Justin, Blake, Jordan, Katrina, Alicia, Chyresse, and Jill; and his eight great-grandchildren, Cooper, Beckham, Miller, Jackson, Edward, Colin, Jacob, and Landon.
Services will be held at St.
Christopher Church in San Jose on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a luncheon reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, Ron requested that donations be made to the Yvonne and V.
Ronald Pine '57 Family Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund at Bellarmine College Preparatory.
