Susan (Fisher) Voigt was called home on July 24th of 2026 after a brief battle with cancer. 
Susan will be remembered as a daughter of Christ, loving wife of 60 years to Tom and devoted mother to her four children Karl, Eric (Katrin), Colin (Pebbles), Alex (Omar); grandchildren, Nicholas (Cecilia), Theresa (Robert), Deagan, Zureen, Summer and Vivienne, and great-grandchildren, Annaliese, Henry, Joseph, Theodore, and Milena. 
Susan will be remembered for her dignity, selflessness, and tenacity, having gone back to college to earn her degree from Aurora University and starting her career after raising four children. 
She was curious to learn, had an understated sense of humor, and prepared exquisite home cooked meals. 
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph E. and Lorna S. 
Fisher and her brother, Ralph “Stewart” Fisher. 
Interment will take place in Susan’s home state of Pennsylvania, with a memorial service in Aurora on Saturday, August 8, at First Presbyterian Church in Aurora, IL. 
In lieu of flowers, at Susan’s request, the Susan F. 
K. 
Voigt Memorial Fund has been established at the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley. 
The fund will support non-traditional students to achieve their educational goals. 
Arrangements entrusted to Daleiden Mortuary, Aurora, Illinois  providing funeral and cremation services to Aurora, Montgomery, Sugar Grove, Oswego, Batavia, Yorkville and surrounding communities.
