Steven Peter Piazzale, 77, of Redwood City, CA, died peacefully on July 27th, 2026.
Born on May 28th, 1949 in San Francisco to Ben and Maryan Piazzale, Steve got his Ph.D. from Stanford University and worked as a Career Coach for 20 years.
Survived by his daughter Gina Freeman (John Robichaux) and granddaughter Clara Freeman, Steve was known for his dedication to family and to helping others, for his loving and gracious spirit, as well as for his passion for music and infectious sense of humor.
Services will be held on August 5th at 3pm at Crippen & Flynn in Redwood City.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palo Alto Jazz Association.
