Eleanor Ann Rohde (Kranz), 97, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. 
Eleanor is survived by son Patrick Rohde and daughters Mary Hough, Deborah Johnson, and Sandra Locher. 
She was preceded in death by her husband William, daughter Kathryn Ranisavljevic, brother George Kranz, and parents Mary and John Kranz. 
Eleanor, graduate of Mundelein College with a B.S. degree in Chemistry, donated her remains to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois for educational, research and training purposes. 
Interment at a future date will be private. 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois.
