A 63-year-old man indicted in connection with a 2025 Dallas RV fire that killed a woman and her dog was arrested Thursday in Galveston, authorities said. 
Matthew Grindberg, 63, was arrested Thursday at his Galveston home, the Galveston Municipal Police Association said in a Facebook post.

Dallas County prosecutors accuse Grindberg of using an open flame to set the fatal fire and hiring DeAnthony Lewis and Lamont Richardson to kill 68-year-old Leslie Denise McBride for payment, according to court records obtained by the Houston Chronicle. 
McBride and her dog died in the Oct. 
19, 2025, RV fire in East Dallas.
