Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in a room at a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip this afternoon, according to a news release from the county.
Responders received a report of smoke in a hotel room at a property at 3121 S.
Las Vegas Blvd. at about 3 p.m., the release stated.
Firefighters made their way to the 56th floor and discovered one room filled with heavy smoke and fire sprinkler activation.
After a sweep, they determined the fire was contained to a single room. the release stated.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue assisted.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
