The Atlanta Police Department is investigating the shooting of four men at a convenience store in Northwest Atlanta on July 22.
According to a preliminary APD report, Zone 1 officers responded to a report of multiple people shot at 644 Joseph E.
Lowery Blvd.
NW on July 22 just before 4 p.m.
Upon arriving on the scene, officers located two adult male victims who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
Both victims were alert, conscious, and breathing, and transported to the hospital by ambulance.
While on the scene, officers were notified that two other adult males with apparent gunshot wounds were transported to Emory University Hospital Midtown by private vehicles.
One victim was found at the hospital alert, conscious, and breathing.
The second victim at the hospital was transported to Grady Hospital by ambulance in critical condition.
According to APD, the investigation indicates that a male suspect entered the convenience store with a firearm, and there was a subsequent exchange of gunfire "between known parties" following a dispute.
The investigation continues.
