Pictures show aftermath of Paul Pelosi’s alleged hit-and-run crash — as he faces charges
Shocking photographs reveal the bashed-up Tesla that Paul Pelosi allegedly slammed into before driving away.
The newly released images show extensive damage to the black EV’s rear driver’s-side corner following Friday’s alleged hit-and-run in Yountville, California.
Authorities say the 86-year-old husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi struck the parked vehicle with his brown convertible before fleeing the scene.

The Tesla’s rear quarter panel was crushed inward, with deep dents, scrape marks, a gaping tear in the bumper bodywork, and shattered pieces scattered across the roadway.
Brown paint transfer is visible across the damaged panels, and the impact appears to have shoved one of the Tesla’s tires on to the curb.
Repairing significant damage to a Tesla can be especially expensive because the vehicles are equipped with exterior cameras and sensors used for Tesla's Autopilot and Full Self-Driving systems.
Yountville is located right in the heart of Napa Valley Wine Country in California.
A black Tesla with driver's side rear damage parked on the street with two people walking past it.
The driver was identified as Pelosi.
Authorities said Pelosi did not have alcohol in his system.
Because no one was injured, deputies did not arrest Pelosi but recommended he face a misdemeanor charge for fleeing the scene of an accident.
The sheriff’s office also referred him to the Department of Motor Vehicles for an evaluation to determine whether he should continue driving, a process officials said is common for older motorists.
Paul Pelosi is the 86-year-old husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
In 2022, the San Francisco businessman was arrested in Napa for driving under the influence after another crash.
He later pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI charges and was sentenced to five days in jail and three years of probation.
He ultimately served two days in jail, received good-conduct credit for two additional days and completed the remaining day through a courthouse work program.
Pelosi was also involved in a fatal crash as a teen.

In 1957, when he was 16, he flipped his sports car near San Mateo, Pelosi said, killing his 19-year-old brother David, who had reportedly urged him to slow down moments before the crash, according to a California Highway Patrol officer quoted by the San Francisco Examiner.
A spokesman for the Pelosis said after Friday’s incident: “Mr.
Paul Pelosi has personally apologized to the owner of the vehicle and assured them that he would take responsibility for the damage to their vehicle.”
“Speaker Pelosi will not be commenting further on this private matter.”
