A man was fatally struck by a train at a busy subway station on Manhattan's West Side on Saturday afternoon.
The 41-year-old victim was hit by a train at the 59th St.-Columbus Circle station around 5:17 p.m., cops said.
EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
It was unclear how the victim ended up on the tracks but police said there was no criminality suspected.
Due to the incident, train service experienced delays in both directions for a period of time as the Nos. 1,2 and 3 trains were suspended between 42nd St. and 137th St.-City College.
