A severely decomposed body was found in an alleyway in Manhattan Thursday morning, cops said.
The unidentified remains were discovered in the alley on Wadsworth Terrace near Fairview Ave. in Washington Heights around 11:40 p.m., according to law enforcement.
The body was so badly decomposed that the deceased’s gender could not be determined, said police.
The city’s medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
